The Nordic Baroque Band is a sought-after ensemble of five highly skilled musicians from Sweden and Denmark. Since their inception in 2014, they have created programs that effortlessly breathe new life into the past, with carefully handpicked compositions from the mid-16th to mid-18th centuries.

 

Playing concerts is The Nordic Baroque Band’s passion. Each performance is a unique experience, blending the energy of the moment with the unique acoustics of the space and the interplay with their audience. With exquisite, rarely heard music, the ensemble transports those present to another time and evokes a myriad of moods and emotions. Their debut album, "The Nordic Baroque Band," released in 2018, garnered rave reviews and earned them a nomination for the prestigious Grammis award (the Swedish equivalent of the American Grammys) for Best Classical Album of the Year.
