Our Story
The Nordic Baroque Band is an ensemble with five professional musicians from Sweden and Denmark that have been playing together since 2014. We carefully select pieces of music from 1550 to 1750 and create programs with a diversity of musical moods and expressions, wonderful music, rarely heard, now brought to life!
We truly love to play concerts. The atmosphere of the day, the interplay with our audience and the acoustics of the space create a special world.
Our first release “The Nordic Baroque Band” from 2018 got great critics and was nominated for a Swedish Grammis for best classical album of the year. In 2021 we released our second album “LIVE Stockholm 2020”. A recording of a live concert with audience from Ersta Kyrka in Stockholm.
